Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. This program is designed for those children two years prior to kindergarten up through 6th grade. It runs during the school year months (Sept - May). The goal of Awana states "Our prayer is that children and youth throughout the world would come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ." Visit awana.org for many details of the program.

C.A.F.E. Groups
Monthly meetings in members homes
Groups are organized in the fall and run through June.
C.A.F.E. stands for Christian Adult Fellowship Evenings. This is a small group which gets together for dinner, fellowship, and encouragement once a month. This year the groups will be discussing a chapter each month in the book "What is a Healthy Church Member?"

Scranton Rescue Mission
Every 5th Sunday 5:15 PM - 7:30 PM
8 West Olive Street, Scranton
Each outreach will be led by two C.A.F.E. groups
On every 5th Sunday throughout the year, our church has the opportunity to minister to the needy in Scranton. We participate in a service which includes singing, special music, and a salvation message. After which we serve a meal, prepared and brought by our church people. We have an opportunity to visit with the people who attend and be an encouragement to them.

Music Ministry
We have a choir which practices weekly and sings bi--weekly in the Morning Worship Service as well as presenting Cantatas for Christmas and Easter. We have a small instrumental group which accompanies the congregational singing weekly and plays special music occasionally. Special music is provided by members of our church in the form of solos, duets, small groups, and instrumental specials.
