Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. This program is designed for those children two years prior to kindergarten up through 6th grade. It runs during the school year months (Sept - May).

On every 5th Sunday throughout the year, our church has the opportunity to minister to the needy in Scranton. We participate in a service which includes singing, special music, and a salvation message. After which we serve a meal, prepared and brought by our church people. We have an opportunity to visit with the people who attend and be an encouragement to them.

The first Sunday of each month we minister to the residents at the Laurels at Mid-valley. We join in praising the Lord through songs and visit with the residents.
